The EIC Coach has been interviewing and hiring candidates for over 25 years. The Coach has interviewed 100's of potential candidates and rejected many more just based on their CV/Resume.

Your CV/Resume is your first impression to the interviewer. You really need to OWN the content of it. At English Interview Coach, we DO NOT write your CV/Resumes for you. We review the one that you have and provide constructive, actionable feedback from an Hiring Manager's perspective.

Interviews can be a stressful situation and you may find it difficult to communicate effectively. It's important to practice your communication and presentation skills before the interview. Think of an interview as a sales call. Sales teams use role-playing to improve their sales call skills. The more you role-play, the more comfortable you'll feel.
Boost Confidence: A coach will help you articulate your strengths and experiences clearly, ensuring you walk into that interview room feeling prepared and self-assured.
Personalized Feedback: With tailored guidance, you'll receive constructive feedback on how to improve and stand out among other candidates.
Mastering Techniques: Learn proven techniques to tackle tough questions, highlight your achievements, and effectively communicate the value you bring.
Career Growth: An interview isn't just about getting a job; it's about stepping closer to your dreams. A coach helps align these sessions with long-term career goals.

It is very important to adapt your CV for each position you apply for, to show how your previous experience fits the position you are applying for, and to determine whether you fit the requirements of the next position.
Two important points about CVs:
1) Write it yourself: If you are having your CV written by a professional CV writer, we recommend that you read and recreate the CV yourself, rather than just copy and pasting. This helps understand the changes and to make it your own.
This is not to say that we dislike what the professional writer(s) has written, but rather that you should have a deep understanding of the content. You will need to be familiar with that content in case you are asked anything about it. It would be bad if you were asked a question about your CV and couldn't answer it.
2) Ask someone to review it: Asking someone to review your CV allows you to get another person's perspective on it. Their insights will help make your CV clearer. Friends and family are good reviewers, but they may be biased. You should ask the person reviewing your CV for honest feedback.
EIC coaches are not professional CV writers. However, they have seen, reviewed, and even ignored hundreds, if not thousands, of CVs. They can use that experience to review your CV and provide constructive feedback. Based on that feedback, you can make any necessary edits, then review and we'll provide additional feedback. We also offer a consultation option to discuss the feedback.
Each Interview Coaching plan is personalized to meet your needs. Our coaches conduct due diligence based on your CV, job description, and information about the company you'll be interviewing with, to better understand your needs.
Each plan begins with a consultation to identify any concerns or specific questions you may have. This allows for a coaching session before the mock interview. Coaching is conducted in both English and Japanese up until the mock interview. However, the mock interview is conducted in English only. Feedback is provided after each session.
If necessary, you can request additional sessions (for a fee). Depending on the plan, we also offer pre-interview sessions to help you get into the right English mindset. There is also the option of a follow-up session after the interview, where you can discuss your actual about the interview and any of the questions you were asked.
